Dr. Shay Brown-Brown is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in healthcare, serving patients across the lifespan—including children and adolescents. As a frontline provider, she has witnessed a troubling rise in childhood obesity, high cholesterol, and early-onset diabetes—often developing in children before the age of 16. These alarming trends inspired her to take action beyond the clinical setting.

In response, Dr. Shay founded Fit 4 Future Generations, a nonprofit organization committed to addressing childhood obesity through education, family engagement, and access to healthier lifestyle resources. Her mission is rooted in empowering parents and caregivers with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to help their children lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Through innovative programs, community events, and hands-on initiatives, Dr. Shay is building a movement that connects families with practical solutions to improve nutrition, physical activity, and overall wellness. Her vision is to create a healthier generation—one child, one family, and one community at a time.
